Skimmer Tours - Salt Marsh Safari

What a great multi-generational family activity! Our captain and the team (Travis and Aidan) were impressive, experienced individuals who were very knowledgeable about the area and wildlife. They were funny, patient, and safe hosts for our trip. The touch tank of live, native animals was great and we all learned so much as the content wasn't dumbed down. Highly recommend.

Travis and Aiden were wonderful. So much information about wildlife and the marsh. Aiden had some wildlife on board for us to view and touch. 6pm tour also includes a beautiful sunset view. Excellent family activity.

Initial review - Jul 2022: I enjoy birding and nature photography, and this was a great way to enjoy both with the company of my wife. The crew was very accommodating and very knowledgeable. This was a great way to enjoy a date night with the setting sun, cool summer breeze, a glass of wine while enjoying Cape May from a new perspective. The 10am trip was centered around kids, but felt the 6pm Sunset trip was a great way to spend the evening with my wife. After we docked we walked around the corner for dinner. We come to Cape May every summer, and we will be booking a trip routinely. Update to this review - 1 year later (Jul 2023): Went on the 6pm Sunset Tour again this year and continue to see amazing views of birds and wildlife. This being my 3rd trip on the boat, I was pleasantly surprised to continue learning and seeing new things. Being a birder, this is a great way to ensure many shore birds make it onto my year list.

The Salt Marsh Safari experience was great.Our guides Travis and Bob were knowledgeable and personable. My wife and I learned about the fragile eco systems that our fish and fowl depend on.They answered every question thrown their way and went above and beyond to make sure we got close to animal habitats so we could better understand how sea levels effect everyday life for all sea life in the bay

Had a Great time learning and taking in all the beauty of the back bay area. the captain and Harrison were friendly and informative. well worth the price!
